How It Works:
Biometric or Boya PIN Prompt Upon App Return
Every time you come back to the Boya app after leaving it idle for more than a minute, you’ll need to authenticate before continuing. You can either use your biometrics (if enabled) or your Boya PIN. If biometric authentication isn’t set up, the app will ask for your Boya PIN by default.
To set it up:
Go to 'Profile & Settings' on the app
Under settings, enable 'Touch ID/ Face ID' to enable biometric authentication. Make sure you have set up your Boya PIN if you prefer to use that method.
Both methods are simple to set up and offer an added layer of protection to ensure your account is secure at all times.
Idle Session Timeout
If the app remains idle for more than one minute, it automatically locks, and you’ll need to authenticate to get back in. This keeps your account safe if you ever leave the app open and unattended.
